Milpitas, California (Silicon Valley)

Launched in October 2001, STATS ChipPAC’s 34,000 square foot test facility in Milpitas, California offers a microcosm in the Silicon Valley of STATS ChipPAC test facilities in Asia, utilizing the same tester configurations, test hardware and manufacturing processes. By supporting customers early in the product development phase, STATS ChipPAC Milpitas can help launch new products on schedule, meeting volume ramps and achieving production cost targets.

The Milpitas, California operation has received ISO 9001 certification.

San Diego, California

One year after establishing its Milpitas, California operation, STATS ChipPAC’s US test operation opened a second facility in San Diego, California in 2002 to provide local support to semiconductor companies in Southern California. Running 24/7, the 20,000 square foot STATS ChipPAC San Diego test operation provides customer access to high-end, richly-configured test systems, as well as software and hardware development, wafer sort, final test and other backend services.
